Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter with the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitor. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut came in 2002 at the KFK Championship in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious by second round TKO and won her next two fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled the record of 3-1. Shevchenko stopped her involvement in MMA to focus on kickboxing. She made her return with a win against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote. She was able to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. The league was dissolved in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Antonina Shevchenko received the UFC contract following this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC in her debut at the TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in an unanimous decision. However, she then lost her subsequent bout due to an unanimous verdict. Antonina bounced back from the defeat and beat Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke submission and earned the fight of the night bonus in the fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her subsequent three bouts. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being lost to Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
