Dakota Blue Richards was born in England. She's most famous for her character of Lyra Belaqua in 'The Golden Compass,' Franky Fitzgerald from the third generations of British teenager drama Skins. There is also a long career of stage performances in stage plays like 'Arcadia' and A Streetcar Named Desire. Richards is a native of London who was raised in Sussex. There were some lessons in drama at her school, however most of the acting classes were held on Saturdays. The school also stayed closed for auditions. Her debut appearance onscreen as an actor came in "The Golden Compass. Richards acting performance was well-received by a large number of viewers, despite her lackluster reaction to the film. She made her debut on the screen in the movie Dustbin Baby.
