Laura Linney
Laura Leggett Linney is an American actor born on February 5, 1964. Linney has been the recipient of various awards including two Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, and she has been nominated to three Academy Awards and five Tony Awards. Linney began her career on Broadway in 1990. She she has since been awarded Tony Award nominations, including the 2002 revival of The Crucible and Sight Unseen's first Broadway productions (2004), Time Stands Still (2009) The Musical (2007), My Name Is Lucy Barton (2017) in addition to the revivals of The Little Foxes (2017). Her first Emmy Award in 2001 for the television film Wild Iris. Subsequent wins included the sitcom Frasier 2003-04 and miniseries John Adams 2008. From 2010 until 2013, she appeared on the Showtime show The Big C, which was awarded her the fourth Emmy in 2013. Then, between 2017 and 2022 she starred in Ozark, a Netflix Crime series Ozark.
